The University of Michigan Museum of Natural History moved from its historic home to its new location on the University of Michigan campus and developed all new exhibits as part of the project. Hutchinson Studios was asked to design an installation of minerals in a see-through case separating the public museum from administrative offices.
The museum provided content and selected specimens. Hutchinson Studios developed an exhibit that showcased the beauty inherent in minerals while maintaining the ordered exhibit content.
Hutchinson Studios provided exhibit and graphic design services (by Tooth & Rag LLC), and directed the installation including artifact installation.
